Forum on Productivity and Performance Measurement

Productivity Measurement is quantifying or putting values to inputs and outputs in order to establish the productivity level or performance of an organization or firm through time. It can also be used to compare productivity performance between organizations or between firms and sectors.

Both partial and total productivity are accepted as common measures of productivity at enterprise as well as at sectoral level. A better understanding of the various models, tools and techniques of productivity measurement can provide opportunities to help evaluate an organization’s performance for its management to take the necessary actions to raise their productivity levels.

The Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) as the National Productivity Organization (NPO), is organizing a Forum on Productivity and Performance Measurement in Service and Banking Industry on 25 March, 2:00pm to 5:00pm, 6th Floor Onofre D. Corpuz Hall, DAP Building, San Miguel Avenue, Ortigas Center, Pasig City.

The forum is part of a series of activities organized to provide opportunity for grantees or alumni of Asian Productivity Organization (APO) capability building projects to share their knowledge on productivity & quality improvement technology, approaches, tools and techniques, and cite examples of how they are actually applied or can be applied in workplaces.

This activity will feature two (2) APO grantee resource speakers, namely, Ms. Maria Rosario A. Ablan, Fellow, Center for Governance, DAP and Mr. Reuel R. Hermoso, Fellow, Council of Fellows, DAP. Both will share their knowledge and learning gained from participation in two separate APO international workshops held in India focusing on Productivity and Performance Measurement in Service and Banking Industry.

A minimal fee of Php 350.00 (paid by March 23, 2015) will be charged per participant to cover cost of PM snacks and refreshments, and certificate. Slots will be limited to 30 participants only, so early registration is encouraged. For payment details and registration policies, please refer to the attached registration form.
