The Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) as the National Productivity Organization, is organizing the 15th Asian Productivity Organization (APO) Grantees’ Forum on May 3, 2017, Wednesday, from 10:00am to 5:00pm at Harold’s Hotel, Cebu City.
This Forum serves as a platform for sharing, learning and networking among APO alumni/grantees, identifying strategies for collaboration with productivity champions and stakeholders which is also in line with creating “multiplier effects” of APO programs.
With the theme “Sustainable Tourism for revitalizing rural communities in the Philippines”, this activity will share information and updates on green productivity/sustainable tourism- related activities and initiatives by selected APO member countries, share highlights of APO study mission held in Hawaii and insights on planning and management of rural tourism and best practices in Hawaii, share the success story of Aloguinsan, a world class Eco-tourism in Cebu, and promote national collaboration among public and private sector groups, APO alumni, and other stakeholders in the area of GP/sustainable tourism.
The following APO grantees were invited to serve as resource speakers: Ms. Aster C. Caberte, Regional Director, DTI Region 7; and Mr. Joselito R. Costas, Provincial Tourism Officer, Cebu Provincial Government.
For this forum we offer a minimal fee of Php 350.00 per participant to cover the cost of air-conditioned venue, snacks & refreshments, and freebies (via raffle).
